By booking a service with Snowy River Car Detailing, you agree to the following terms.
Quotes & Pricing
Quotes provided prior to inspection are estimates. The final price is confirmed once the vehicle has been inspected. If condition differs from what was described (e.g. excessive pet hair, mould, heavy paint defects), any additional cost will be confirmed before work proceeds.
Travel Fees
A travel fee applies to bookings outside of the Marlo/Orbost area to cover fuel and travel time:
- Marlo & Orbost and surrounds, No travel fee
- Lakes Entrance and surrounds, $20 travel fee
- Bairnsdale and surrounds, $40 travel fee
- Further locations, quoted individually
Travel fees are confirmed at the time of booking and added to the final invoice.
Deposits & Cancellations
- A deposit may be required to secure a booking for larger jobs (paint correction, full packages, mobile bookings outside Orbost).
- Cancellations or reschedules with 24+ hours' notice: deposit carries over to the new booking.
- Late cancellations or no-shows: deposit is forfeited to cover the lost appointment.
Mobile Jobs
Mobile bookings require reasonable access to the vehicle, plus power and water where the service requires it. If access is not available on arrival and the job cannot proceed, this is treated as a late cancellation.
Pre-existing Damage
The vehicle will be inspected before work begins (with photos for larger jobs) to record existing scratches, chips, or paint condition. Snowy River Car Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, including prior scratches, worn trim, or failing clear coat. Cut & polish works on the vehicle's existing clear coat, where clear coat is already thin or over-polished, results cannot be guaranteed and the business is not liable for burn-through where reasonable care has been taken.
Customer Responsibilities
Please remove valuables and rubbish before the appointment (unless removal is part of the booked service), and advise of any mechanical or electrical issues that may affect the work (e.g. non-functioning windows or locks).
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed. Cash or bank transfer accepted.
Satisfaction
Please inspect the vehicle before the appointment concludes. Any concerns raised within 48 hours will be rectified at no additional charge. This does not cover issues raised after 48 hours or damage occurring after the vehicle leaves our care.
Photos
Before/after photos may be taken for portfolio and social media use, with number plates excluded. Let us know at booking if you'd prefer not to be included.
